Madonna Countdown-Number 8

In at number 9 on the Madonna countdown is "Give It 2 Me" which was released in 2008. Pharrell Williams was also on the track. I love how different the track is to the other Madonna ones and I absolutely love this video. The whole look of the video is really cool even if Madonna was 50 and wearing hot pants ha. Do you like this Madonna song?

Madonna Countdown-Number 9

In at Number 9 of my favourite Madonna song's ever is 'Ray Of Light' 

The song was released in 1998 and was written by Madonna and William Orbit and is based on Curtiss Maldoon's "Sephyryn"

I really love the video which uses time-lapse images of daily life. I love the colour theme used throughout.

The Countdown Begins- Number 10

I am beginning a countdown of my ten favourite Madonna songs of all time! These are purely my opinion! I love Madonna, she's a massive icon and a true innovator!

In at number 10, it's Material Girl.

The video is based on Marilyn Monroe's 'Diamonds are a girl's best friend' from the film 'Gentlemen prefer blondes'

It was released in January 1985 and comes off Madonna's second album 'like a virgin' 

(I can't believe how similar madonna in this video looks like Lourdes!)

Madonna here with her first husband Sean Penn, when you look at them separately now you'd never think they were married! I'm feeling some love for Madonna right now (more than usual) so starting tomorrow I will to a countdown of my top ten favourite Madonna songs! There are so many to choose from but I know which one my favourite is!

Blond Ambition

I have a huge fascination with the Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles. It's a symbol for dreaming big and aiming high. Now I know Hollywood is quite a fickle place but the sign represents the film industry. There's nothing better than watching a film and escaping into that world, almost like a fantasy. The sign reminds us that this whole Hollywood world is a fantasy, almost like a film.

They were threatening to take down the Hollywood Sign in April this year but Hugh Hefner stepped in and payed for it to be kept. This whole Hollywood sign rescue subject got me thinking about playboy and the playboy mansion. Hugh Hefner is apparently facing threats that he'll have to sell his playboy mansion. I don't know about you but I kind of have soft spot for Playboy. It was slightly ruined by British chavs who were plastered in make up and just an awful representation of a young woman today ( think Katie Price ) but the real playboy woman is sexy but in an understated way. It's about celebrating the woman. They never have any nude photographs on the cover. It was done in quite a tasteful way and you'd be surprised who's actually done playboy! (Debbie Harry a.k.a Blondie was a playboy bunny) so I've chosen a selection of Playboy covers and I'll let you make your own mind about Playboy. I think it's every woman's choice to be as sexually provocative as they want to be and they should not be judged.

I am posting this as I'm getting ready to go out! I'm listening to Madonna tonight so your Friday song will be Madonna! I'm so exited to go out as i haven't been out for ages! I was torn between posting 'Papa don't preach' and 'Vogue' but I'm going to go with 'Like a prayer'
