The Rolling Stone

I know the title of this post will dissuade a lot of people. :P But let me tell u something, this post is not about the band - Rolling Stone! Its about me (the rolling stone) who's been to so many places in India. Some purely bcoz of dad's transferable job and the others coz of the mere fact that i love travelling. So come Saturday, and i am off to Rajasthan on a trip to Jaipur, Jodhpur & Udaipur. :)

I can't wait for this week to end! Just so excited, i have always wanted to see Rajasthan right from my childhood. Everything about that place is just so colorful and royal. Whether its the palaces or the food and culture, everything is so so beautiful. So u won't be seeing any posts from me for a week. Do miss me and i shall update my blog with the trip details and pics once i am back! ;)

I will also be going to see the Durga Puja at Shivaji Park tomorrow. For the people who don't know, Shivaji Park is a place in Dadar where the whole Bengali community hosts a grand Durga Puja every year. So everytime u go there u feel as of u r in Kolkata, everything is done up in a traditional Bengali way. And for someone like me who loves Bengali sweets :P I can't wait to go there and gorge on the mouth watering Bengali food.

So that's it from my side, i may or may not post anything after this depending on the time i get. So bye then, all of u have a gr8 weekend!! :) And wish u all a very Happy Dusshera!

Men will always be Men!!

A man is dating three women and wants to decide which one to marry.

He decides to give them a test. He gives each woman a present of $5,000 to see what they do with the money.

The first does a total makeover. She goes to a fancy beauty salon, gets her hair done, purchases new make-up and buys several new outfits, and dresses up very nicely for the man. She tells him that she has done this to be more attractive for him because she loves him so much. The man is impressed.

The second goes shopping to buy the man gifts. She gets him a new set of STRONG golf clubs, some new gizmos for his computer, and some expensive clothes. As she presents these gifts, she tells him that she has spent all the money on him because she loves him so much. Again, the man is impressed.

The third invests the money in the stock market. She earns several times the $5,000. She gives him back his $5000 and reinvests the remainder in a joint account. She tells him that she wants to save for their future because she loves him so much. Obviously, the man is impressed.

The man thinks for a long time about what each woman has done with the money.

Guess which lady he chooses to marry?

Think like a man. . .

He marries the most beautiful one!!!

Talking about the weekend, it was good!! Although my last post suggested something totally unlike what i am saying here. I realised that i can have fun on my own too!! Saturday marked the beginning of the "Pamper Me Day" :) I went to the salon and pampered myself from head to toe! I had a nice relaxing pedicure, a hair treatment which left my hair smelling awesome and a facial which left my skin glowing!! All in all Saturday turned out to be just how i wanted it to be!

Sunday was mostly spent playing scrabble on Facebook! Yes, i have been glued to Scrabble from the past few days. And i seem to be getting addicted to it with each passing day. :) And the day ended with a marriage reception which i attended with my parents. The food was all veg, but luckily there were five cuisines viz. Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese, Italian & Thai. So i could somehow manage. Hope all of u have a great week ahead!!

Exactly my feelings at present.....Hope the weekend does some good to me! The blogville also seems to be in a dull mode. I don't see people turning up here, like they used to earlier. I guess they have changed. Anyways, hope you all have a great weekend unlike me.

Superman's Adventure

Note: Not for kids, strictly for adults.


Superman was feeling bored after a long day of crime fighting and wanted to go out and party, so he called Batman to ask if he wanted to go to a club and pick up some girls.

Batman said Robin was ill and he had to look after him. A little disappointed, Superman called Spiderman to see if he fancied a few beers.

Spiderman told him he had a date with Catwoman. As a last resort, Superman flew over to Wonderwoman's apartment to see if she was free.

As he landed on her balcony, he saw Wonderwoman naked on the bed with her legs open. Superman thought to himself: "I'm faster than a speeding bullet. I could be in there, have sex, and be out again before she knew what was happening".

So Superman did his Super thing in a split-second and flew off happily. Meanwhile on the bed, Wonderwoman said: "Did you hear something?"

"No" said the Invisible Man, "but my a*s hurts like hell!!"

When Death Came Calling!

Hyderabad: Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, better known as YSR, died in a helicopter crash on Thursday after his helicopter carrying him went missing over a dense forest area dominated by Maoist rebels.

Bodies of YSR Reddy and four others werer found, according to PTI.

The helicopter was traced in mangled state on Thursday on Rudrakonda hill, 40 nautical miles east of Kurnool.

The state-owned twin engine, seven-seater helicopter, Bell-430, he was flying in disappeared over the Nallamalla forest area in heavy rains at 9.35am on Wednesday, about an hour after it started, state officials said.

The worst part is that he was asked not to travel coz of the bad weather, and despite the warnings he went ahead with the trip. This is when we realise that there is something called fate (destiny). If somebody is destined to die, nobody can stop it from happening. Not even the person himself.
