Update: Saw Delhi 6 today and the one word that came to my mind was "Disappointing". Yeah i can't believe this movie comes from the same director who had made a cult movie like "Rang De Basanti"! Really sad....to be precise i hated the last 15-20 mins and that kinda spoilt it all!!
This weekend i am not gonna be doing anything that gr8! Saturday i.e. tomorrow will be spent in office. :( So no chance of doing anything tomorrow. However, Sunday will be fun due to.......yep u guessed it right, lunch and movie date with my guy. :) We will be watching "Delhi 6", have high hopes from this movie since its coming from the same person who directed "Rang De Basanti". So it better be good!
By the way, the other movies which will be sharing the silver screen with Delhi 6 this weekend are "Valkyrie" starring Tom Cruise and the Oscar nominated "Milk" starring Sean Penn. So which of the three movies appeals the most to you, and which one of these are you most likely to watch? Let me give you a snap shot of each of the movies so that its easier for you to choose.
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Delhi 6 tells the story of Roshan, an NRI played by Abhishek Bachchan who visits India for the first time to drop his ailing grandmother played by Waheeda Rahman. Having already made waves with its impeccable soundtrack by Rahman, Delhi 6 also features Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo role.
VALKYRIE
Tom Crusie starrer Valkyrie is set in Nazi Germany during World War II and depicts a plot by German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler. Directed by Brian Singer,Valkyrie is based on true incidents, where Cruise appears as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg one of the key plotters. The film also stars Tom Wilkinson.
Based on a true story and set in the 1970's, Milk stars Sean Penn in the lead as California's first openly gay elected official who wins the San Francisco supervisor seat. This gay supervisor was assassinated for having been open about his sexuality.
Now that u know what each movie is about, take ur pick and lemme know which one u wanna watch.
P.S Jus wanted to write abt something random and this is what came to my end. Have a gr8 weekend guys!! :)
