List of top 10

After a long time i am gonna take up a tag which requires some amount of memory exercise. :) Well, thanks for tagging me SMM. So what i need to do is, write the importance/significance of the numbers 1-10 in my life. So here it is:

The number of partners one should have at any given point of time. Pardon me for being preachy but it not only means being faithful in a relationship, but it also helps in preventing sexually transmitted diseases like AIDS.

Two is the number of close friends that i have with whom i can share anything and everything. :)

Reminds me of "Three's Company". Ok jokes apart 3 reminds me of my school days (from class I to class III).....i was quite a popular kid and i was more famous for my voice and extra curricular activities than anything else.

Is a date that i need to remember throughout my life coz 4th Jan is my to be mom-in-law's b'day.

Is my numerological number since my b'day falls on a 23rd which means 2+3=5. Lol!! No i don't quite believe in numerology but this is what came to my mind.

Reminds of 666 the devil's number. I wonder though why is it 666!? and not 555 or 777 or whatever! Well, actually 6 is also my birthday month. :)

Is my lucky number.....well nothing gr8 has happened on this date so far, but i have a strange fascination with this number. Also i wonder why do we have so many things associated with seven like seven seas, seventh heaven etc.

Are the number of yrs i lived in Hyderabad, and this was the place where i started my schooling. That's why i have very fond memories of this place and those were the best days of my life.

This is not just a number for me....I was in class 9th when i met my guy, and the rest as they say is history. Love walked into my life and it remains that way to date. :) Love u sweetheart!!

Are the number of years that i have known my guy. :) Yep i now know him from over a decade....yet it still feels as if it was only yesterday that we met.

Wow!that was a nice walk down the memory lane.....felt good to think of those good old days. Now as always this tag is open for anybody to take up. So ppl go for it and lemme know as well. And all of you have a great weekend while i sit and sulk at home coz my parents leave for UK tomorrow morning.

Weekend Hangover!

This weekend was one of the most amazing ones that i ever had. :) It was a trip to a place called Garudmachi (somewhere near Pune) which was organised by my office. The journey started on Saturday morning (6.00 a.m. to be precise) and ended on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. But these two days were so awesome and so full of activities that i didn't even realise how the weekend just flew past me. Lemme start with what did we do day-wise. Here goes:

Day 1

We reached the place at 11 a.m where we were welcomed with lemon juice and breakfast. We were asked to eat light coz we had a long day ahead. Since we were a group of 100 ppl, we were further divided into 4 groups so that all of us could participate in the activities that were lined up for us in a more organized manner. The first activity that my group went for was "Obstacle Clearing", it was an army training sorta activity which was a bit tough but we had loads of fun doing it. Sorry to say that i don't have pics of the same else i would have put it up here.

Anyways, next we had another set of three games which tested our mettle as a team. We finished most of the activities by 2 p.m and then we were asked to finish our lunch. This time too we were asked to eat light. :) Post lunch we got half an hour of resting time. Now comes the exciting part, the post lunch session consisted of two activities viz. Rock-climbing and Rappelling. Frankly speaking i had my own fears about doing these activities coz i am not that much of an adventure junkie and besides i had never done anything of this sorts before. But something inside me said that i shouldn't give up without a try. So i went ahead with both, here are the pics for testimony.

On finishing both the activities i felt really good about myself and it also gave me the confidence of trying others adventure sports in future. These two activities got done by 5 p.m,then we had a tea break and we were asked to take rest till 7 p.m. Come 7 p.m and we were all set for a "Treasure Hunt" that been organized for us. We were sent in teams with a compass and a torch to look for clues in a jungle which was 500 metres away from the camp site. Thank god we were in teams coz it was really scary to be stuck in the middle of no where with just a torch and a compass. We were given 2 hrs to look for the 5 clues which would finally lead us to a Treasure Chest. Searching for the clues was really interesting, and walking below a starlit sky was truly awesome.

The day came to an end with our team winning the treasure hunt. :) And then it was time to party, the drinks started flowing in and there were starters as well. Well, men were hardly interested in the starters, all that mattered to them was the drinks. ;) I chose not to have any hard drinks, i sat and chatted with my friends. Actually i was waiting for the dinner to be served coz i couldn't wait to crash on my bed! Oh yeah btw were put up in huge tents which had like eight single beds and two attached bathrooms. Yep i stayed in a tent for the first time and it was pretty cool! I had my dinner by 11.30 p.m and crashed by 12 midnight coz we had to be up by 6.30 in the morning.

Day 2

Well day 2 consisted of trekking, which i absolutely love. Besides, this was the only activity which i had done before. The trek started at by 7 a.m, we were briefed by the facilitators who were to accompany us throughout the trek. Here are a few pics which were taken during the trek.

After the trek we got back to the Camp Site and freshened up. It was already 12 noon by then, we had an early lunch after which it was time for a group photo. And then it was time to bid farewell to the place where we had so much of fun! I reached home by 7.30 p.m and it was time to get back to the usual boring routine stuff. :(

God Speaks

Found these interesting ads supposedly created by god! Now isn't that a novel way of communicating with us humans!! :P These ads actually remind me of the animated conversations that i have with god from time to time. Yep, i prefer conversing with god rather than praying, call it my style of praying. :) Enjoy these ads, and let me know which one u liked the most. Also tell me how was your weekend, mine was gr8 and you'll soon see a post on that.

Truth of Life

Some instances just end up substantiating this quote.....Really don't feel like writing anything today. Call it one of those low days or whatever! Would love to read what all of u think about this quote.

First it was the Fritzl case and now with this case which happened in our very own Mumbai, I am wondering where are we heading.I dont have words to describe what I felt when I read and saw this case on TV. All I can say is that its downright sick and the thought of having such parents disgusts me!!

The question is; How can somebody do this to his own child?? And now, can this girl ever trust anybody!? Can she ever forget what her own father did to her!?
I really dunno what else to say!!

A Li'l Bit of Me!!

Today wasn't such a good day. I am not saying this coz i had a bad experience or something, its jus that the day passed by very slowly and i was feeling very dull and sluggish through!! Anyways, i am glad that i m done with the day and have some great plans for the weekend. Planning to see "Straight" starring Vinay Pathak and Gul Panag tomorrow and i also plan to catch up with my best friend after a long time. So Saturday's gonna be packed with action! :)

That's about it for now, i somehow feel there's been a strange lull in blogville off late! Most of the ppl have either taken a break or have left blogging altogether. And this include some of my very dear friends, i am sure i won't be able to name all of them but yeah i do miss Keshi a lot. A lot of ppl here know that we were jus like twins! I dunno why but there was this strange connection that i felt with her. And i feel a void a lot many times and her absence jus becomes way too obvious. I hope she gets back soon, and i also hope that all my friends who are on a break get back soon coz i really miss them!! :( :(

Ok, now i don't want to end this post on a sad note so i took this fun and interesting quiz which was suggested to me by Xh. U'll find all the details on his page, its a nice way of discovering urself. So take this quiz and lemme know how close do u find urself with the analysis. Here is my result:
