Hot Air Balloon

A woman in a hot air balloon realized that she was lost. She reduced the altitude of the balloon and spotted a man below. She descended a bit more and shouted,

"Excuse me sir, can you help me? I promised a friend that I would meet him an hour ago but I don't know where I am."

The man below replied, "You're in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You're between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west longitude."

''You must be an engineer for sure," said the lady.

"I am" replied the man. "But how did you know?"

''Well", answered the lady, "Everything you told me is technically correct, but I've no idea what to make of your information, and the fact is that I'm still lost! Frankly speaking, you've not been of much help to me. If anything, you have delayed my trip even more."

The man below responded, "Really you must be from the top management for sure"

"I certainly am" replied the lady, "But how did you know?"

Well, said the man, "You don�t know where you are, or where you�re going exactly. You made a promise, which you've no idea how to keep up, and above all you expect people beneath you to solve all the problems!"

How you Doin?

This last week was nothing short of terrible, it had only been a couple of days since dad had recovered from typhoid and i was bitten by a silly mosquito which lead me to the dreadful malaria. What followed was 104 degrees of temperature for 5 days coupled with lots of weakness & an awful appetite. Let's just say that i hated to eat anything in this past one week! Mom had a tough time dealing with me, and it felt as if i had gone back to childhood. Her daily activities included goading me to eat on time, reminding me to take my medicines on time and staying awake through nights coz of the high temperature.

Anyways, it feels wonderful to be back to my own self again! Although i am still weak and on the slow road to recovery, it feels good to know that at least the malaria is gone. This illness has also made me realize how badly am i going to miss my mom once i get married. I so don't want to get married, not for at least the next couple of years! :|

Tell you guys plz take care of yourselves and do whatever it takes to stay away from mosquitoes! Stay safe & stay healthy.

P.S. A special thanks to all my wonderful friends who kept checking about my health every now and then. Love you guys to bits!! Also, needless to say my sweetheart who made it a point to call me twice everyday on skype to check on my health, I Love U Baby, YOU r simply the best!!

Down in dumps :(

Feeling so bad to have not updated my blog since such a long time....Haven't been to work since the past 3 days, reason being malaria. Have been stuck with it since Saturday night, on the road to slow recovery now. The medicines are so strong that they make me feel hollow from within, food tastes so bland that most of the times i feel like throwing up.

Have never felt so weak & dull. Mornings are fine, and fever starts to creep in once evening's here. So the only respite is facebook in the mornings, coz the rest of the time is spent resting. In fact i am bored of resting too, but can't do much about it. Doctor's asked me to take rest for at least a week.

Let's hope i get well soon, resume office and blogging like earlier. Till then adios guys!!
