Well, this message is indeed awkwardly-worded. Anyone who speaks English and uses iTunes will instantly realise that something is wrong with this!

i had a dream, that the next generation apple prosumer machine, whould still have the "el capitan" case, but the case would be shiny!!
i would have a mercury (quicksilver) "color" or finish.
it would be semi-see-thru.
if i were good in creating stuff in photoshop, i would try to recreate my "dream" machine.
maybe someone out there would want to give it a shot. and recreate it.

Not used this feature for a long time, so surprised was me when i found out that Apple have changed everything.
Instead of listing every duplicated song , it just displays only one instance of a song.
Is there any whay to turn it back to the old way of
"Show Duplicates?"

Steve Jobs isn't allowed to wear brown. -_- I was disappointed.
First he wears brown and then there is no One More thing.

You mean the contexual menu that pops up? Unfortunately, I don't think I can edit the font size. The default theme is the same size. The beauties of a non-native browser...
...
No, I mean the toolbar itself, as you can see in the following attachment. The drop-down menu is fine.

Can we make it a drinking game? Every time Jobs says "boom" or uses some insanely outrageous gigantic superlatives you have to drink.

Apparently using iPads and such at Apple stores carries a high risk of being infected with some sort of virus.
I guess it kind of makes sense, maybe they should clean them daily?

2. I have my 2010 MBP and I just traded a crappy acoustic guitar that I have played twice for an iMac g3. It came with everything just like the day he bought it down to the Styrofoam.

I know I can set the whole of my system audio output to Soundflower, but I require the ability to output sound just from a given application through SF.
Apps like GarageBand can do it normally because they have built-in options to do so, but of course that isn't always the case for every app.
I was thinking something like this:
http://tg.tmiz.net/softwares/clwea/
...except instead of Chrome, I'd rather use Safari or Firefox. Should I ask the developer to make another version where I can select a different application, or is there another way to do what I want?
Parallels can accomplish what I need, but it's a pain to start it up and have it consume so much RAM for a simple task.

No, I love the Clarendon setting. It's actually a shade farther than Pentagon City, but I don't want to sit in a mall all day. And it looks like no rain tomorrow, but clouds.
The Clarendon location is definitely "my store."
blakespot
Yeah, Clarendon is certainly a more 'scenic' location.

dear forum,
the problem with this g5 is the "darn" fans. they are revving up and spinning at crazy speeds constantly.
is there anything to fix this? we've sprayed it with air to clean, remounted the ram and the video card, cleaned the connections for the fans, remounted the 2 fans (especially the main offending fan) and looked for software fixes.
also we reset the pmu and smu.

I found this video of Portal 2 on a MacBook Air. I guess it runs okay, according to the description:

This is a 2009 MacBook:

I'd infer from that that it'll work fairly well.

For actual written fiction, visit:
http://www.homepage.mac.com/citizensane/Personal1.html
and click "words".
At the moment, almost all of the material is extracted from screenplays that I've put together: plans are in motion to get "regular" fiction up in the future.

I got a refurb for my then 20 month old 3Gs about 3 weeks ago. It's a 5K.
It looks and feels new (nice to havea FRESH oleophobic screen!), but is slower than molasses with 4.3.2 (mine had 4.3.1 or 4.3) and the bluetooth is very hard to connect to my horseless carriage whereas the old one connected fine. If I like and get the iPhone 5 this fall, no biggie, but if I do not like it and hand another year with the 3Gs I may be an unhappy camper.
Mike
You can always go to Apple and ask for a new "Replacement." Its a replacement phone that isn't a refurb.

Hi,
I wanted to ask this question a bit differently. As the title to my post says: How did you "get trapped" with the lighting equipment or "choosing" your lighting equipment !!!
igmolinav : ) !!!
Lighting isn't like buying into a camera system, you can mix and match lights. It's starting to change in that some manufactures now have control systems, but to be honest unless you've got a strobe on a boom, it's easier to just walk over to the strobe and adjust it manually.
I've got a couple of old alienbees, a couple of Profotos and I've just got a couple of Einsteins, not to mention a few Canon and Vivitar speedlites too. The only thing is that is a bit annoying is that that not all modifiers can be used on all the strobes, but you tend to use them in different ways anyway so it's not much of a problem.
Start out with cheap lights like a couple of Alienbees and when you feel you need some of the function of more expensive lights just add them and use the cheaper strobes for non key lights. You don't need a couple of $2000 strobes with a computer control unit to light a background when a couple of $200 alienbees on optical trigger will do the same job and probably better since there's less to go wrong. When location shooting it's easier to take a couple of monolights for the main lights but then use speedlites for the extra lights, they don't need to be as powerful as you won't be using them in a softboxes, they're heaps smaller, smaller lights = smaller stands, and no cables or external powerpacks.
Actually now that I think about it I don't think there is a single lighting system I could live with, none of them are really flexible enough.

All depends what you like doing on it I guess. I'd recommend for starters:
Games- don't really play them so not sure which!
Good reader for storing travel documents
Yell.com (or the US equivalent) for finding nearby services
Skype for keeping in touch with folk back home....
Have a search on the App store....
