P.S. I Love You

I am not asking what love is....i know most of us would either have some definition for love or would rather say that love is indefinable. But what i want to ask is,

"Is it possible to love two people at the same time? And if yes then how do you justify it?"

Mind you people no twisting of words here, this pertains to love that you feel for a person of the opposite sex. So please give clear cut answers and not confusing ones. And if you are genuinely confused then you can admit that too. ;) Good luck with the answers and i shall give my answer once i get your answers. All of you have a gr8 weekend!!

P.S. A dedication to all those people who lost their lives in the plane crash that happened in Mangalore, Karnataka on 22nd May (Saturday). May their souls rest in peace & may god give strength to their families to deal with the loss of their loved ones.

Heaven & Hell

Once upon a time there were two brothers. One brother was very mischievous, always getting into trouble. The other brother, however, was very good. He was always kind to animals, helped elderly neighbors, and led an exemplary life.

As time went on, the brothers stayed in touch but were never close to each other. The evil brother became a heavy drinker and a womanizer. The other brother was a devoted husband and father and supported many charities.

One day the evil brother died. After a few years, the good brother passed away too. He went to heaven and was rewarded with a happy after life.

One day he went to God and asked, "Where is my brother? He died much before me, but I have not seen him here in heaven."

God replied, "As you know, your brother led an evil life, so he is not here in heaven. He has been sent else where."

"I'm sorry to hear that", the good brother replied.

"But I do miss him and wish I could see him again."

"You can see him if you wish", God said "I will give you the power to gaze into hell."

So the power was granted and the good brother gazed into hell. Before long he saw his brother sitting on a bench. In one arm he held a keg of beer, and in the other he cradled a gorgeous young blonde.

The good brother turned to God and said, "I can't believe what I'm seeing. I have found my brother, and he has a keg of beer in one arm and a beautiful woman in the other. Surely, hell can not be that bad."

God explained. "Things are not always as they seem, my son. The keg has a hole in it, the blonde doesn't."

P.S: Saw Kites this weekend, and all i have to say is that it was definitely not worth the hype created from the past 2 yrs or so!

Rants Special

I am stressed, i am stressed! Oh did i say i am STRESSED!! Yeah, this past one week has been crazy....so much so that i had my lunch at 5.30 p.m yesterday. What followed next was acidity and head ache in the evening. Well the worst part is that i don't know how long is this going to continue....as one of my colleagues is on a long leave which ends at the end of this month, and other colleague of mine has some serious health concerns, so dunno how long is he not gonna be around too!

So that leaves me and my colleague to take care of 2 desks each!! Wow, how optimistic does that sound now....besides the colleague who is handling the desks with me right now is to go on leave from the 1st week of June. So that's enuff to put me in a tizzy and this leaves me wondering, "When the HELL will i get to take an off!?" I am in dire need of a vacation....and i desperately look forward to weekends these days....that's the only respite i get from this helluva job! Anyways, hope all of you have a gr8 weekend. Will be watching Kites on Sunday, hope it turns out to be good.

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are gone?

This Weekend Install Love

Tech Support: Yes, how can i help you?

Customer: Well after much consideration, i've decided to install Love. Can you guide me through the process?

Tech Support: Yes. I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?

Customer: Well, i'm not very technical, but i think i'm ready, as long as you walk me through the steps. Tell me now, what do i do first?

Tech Support: The first step is to open your heart. Have you located your heart?

Customer: Yes, but there are several other programs running now. Is it okay to install Love while they are running?

Tech Support: Er...what programs are running, can you list them for me?

Customer: Let's see, i have Past Hurt, Low Self-esteem, Grudge & Resentment running right now.

Tech Support: No problem, you can go right ahead. Love will gradually erase Past Hurt from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory but it will no longer disrupt other programs.

Love will eventually override Low Self-esteem with a module of its own called High Self-esteem. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge & Resentment. Those programs prevent Love from being properly installed.

Tell me, can you turn those off?

Customer: Umm...let me see. Actually, i don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how? Please help.

Tech Support: With pleasure. It's really quite simple. Go to your start menu and invoke Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge & Resentment have been completely erased.

Customer: Okay done! Wow, Love has started installing itself. Is that normal?

Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. It's quite basic. You begin connecting to other Hearts in order to get the ugrades.

Customer: Oops! I have an error message already. It says, 'Error - Program not run on external components.' What should i do now?

Tech Support: Don't worry, relax. It means that the Love program is set up to run on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In non-technical terms it simply means you have to Love yourself before you can Love others.

Customer: So, what should i do?

Tech Support: Pull down Self-acceptance; then click on the following files: Forgive Self, Realise Your Worth; and Acknowledge Your Limitations.

Customer: Okay, done. That wasn't too difficult.

Tech Support: Now copy them to the 'My Heart' directory. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty programming. Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-crticism from all directories and empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.

Customer: Got it. Hey! My Heart is filling up with the new files. Smile is playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying themselves all over My Heart. Is it normal?

Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes a while, but eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed and running. One more thing before we hang up. Love is Free ware. Be sure to pass it and its various modules around to every one you meet. They will in turn share it with others and return some cool modules back to you.

Customer: Thank you, thank you so much.

Visit to a Doc

One morning a patient arrives at a doctor's clinic complaining of serious back pain. The doctor examines him and asks him "OK, what happened to your back?"

The patient replies "You know I work for a local night club. This morning I got home early and heard a noise in my bedroom. On entering I knew someone had been with my wife and the balcony door was open. I rushed out the balcony door and did not find anyone. As I looked down from the balcony I saw a man running out and he was dressing himself. I grabbed the fridge and threw it at him, that's how I strained my back"

The 2nd patient arrives looking as if he has been in a car wreck. The doctor said "My previous patient looked bad, but you look terrible. What the hell happened to you?"

He replied, "You know I have been unemployed for a while now...Today was the first day at my new job. I forgot to set my alarm and was running late. I was running out of the building, getting dressed at the same time, and you won't believe it but, I was hit by a fridge!!"

The 3rd patient arrives, he looks even worse than the other two patients do. The doctor is shocked and asks, "What the hell happened to you??"

"Well I was sitting in a fridge & someone threw it from the 3rd floor."

Monday Morning Inspiration

Its a dull and lazy morning, well when have i ever said anything better about Mondays!! Anyone willing to inspire me!? Go on, give it a try! :P

Now, I have a question to ask, tell me why is it that people fall in love with someone who they know will never reciprocate their feelings?? I can't seem to understand this coz it's never happened to me. So if there's anyone here who's been through it or who wants to share their views on this please go ahead.
