After that heavy post i feel its time to lighten up a bit so here are some interesting and funny answers to questions that v generally come across. :)

1. At the movies:
When you meet acquaintances/friends...
Stupid Question:- Hey, what are you doing here?

Answer:- Dont u know, I sell tickets in black over here...

2. In the bus:
A heavy lady wearing pointed high-heeled shoes steps on your feet...
Stupid Question:- Sorry, did that hurt?

Answer:- No, not at all, I'm on local anesthesia.....why don't you try again.

3. At a funeral:
One of the teary-eyed people ask...
Stupid Question:- Why, why him, of all people.

Answer:- Why? Would it rather have been you?

4. At a restaurant:
When you ask the waiter
Stupid Question:- Is the "Butter Paneer Masala" good??

Answer:- No, its terrible and made of adulterated cement. We occasionally
also spit in it.

5. At a family get-together:
When some distant aunt meets you after years
Stupid Question:-Munna,Chickoo, you've become so big.

Answer:- Well you haven't particularly shrunk yourself.

6. When a friend announces her wedding, and you ask...
Stupid Question:- Is the guy you're marrying good?

Answer:- No, he's a miserable wife-beating, insensitive lout...it's just the money.

7. When you get woken up at midnight by a phone call...
Stupid Question:- Sorry. were you sleeping?

Answer:- No. I was doing research on whether the Zulu tribes in Africa marry or not. You thought I was sleeping.... you dumb witted moron.

8. When you see a friend/colleague with evidently shorter hair...
Stupid Question:- Hey have you had a haircut?

Answer:- No, its autumn and I'm shedding......

9. At the dentist when he's sticking pointed objects in your mouth...
Stupid Question:- Tell me if it hurts?

Answer:- No it wont. It will just bleed.

10. You are smoking a cigarette and a cute woman in your office asks...
Stupid Question:- Oh, so you smoke.

Answer:- Gosh, it's a miracle ...........it was a piece of chalk and now it's in flames.

Deadly Love

The creative head of the game show �Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain� has been found dead, hacked into 300 pieces. His body was recovered 10 days after he went missing, The victim Neeraj Grover was the Assistant Creative Head of Synergy Productions, Mumbai.

The accused in the murder are Neeraj Grover�s girlfriend and small time Kannada actress Maria Susyraj, 28, and Naval officer and Maria�s fiance Lt Jerome Mathew, 25, aeronautical engineer based in Cochin. The breakthrough in the case came as a result of Maria confessing to the crime during interrogation. Maria broke down in police custody, but the police are still unclear on murder motive.

Police says the couple debated on how to erase the clues that could lead to their discovery. Jerome is learnt to have convinced Maria that no one will get a hint of their crime once the body is disposed. When Maria expressed doubts about someone in the building seeing them take the body out, Jerome suggested cutting the body into pieces, stuffing them into bags and disposing it in some isolated place. It was then Maria who offered to buy the knives and bags, while Jerome suggested that they buy petrol and a lighter and burn the bags.

The Crime Branch has arrested Jerome from Kochi on Wednesday evening (May 21). Sources tell that Maria saw Neeraj as a stepping stone to Bollywood and had never revealed to him her relationship with her fiance. Neeraj Grover went missing on May 10th. He was last seen dining with Maria. He had accompanied her to her flat in Malad after that and stayed back.

According to police, at around 10:30 pm on May 9th, Mathew called Maria on her cell phone. Mathew was shocked when he overheard Grover�s voice and asked Maria about the person. She informed him that Grover was her friend and was helping her in shifting. Mathew told Maria to immediately ask Grover to leave.

Next morning, when Maria answered the door bell, she was shocked to find Mathew at the doorstep. Mathew was equally shocked to see Grover in the bedroom and flew into a rage, overpowered the man and stabbed him with a kitchen knife.�

That�s how this creative head of a prominent production house in Mumbai met his gruesome end.

I was totally shocked to read such a news.....I really dint know how to react but it definitely made me think about one thing; Can love be so deadly? Can somebody love someone so much that he/she can kill anybody who dares to come in between them? Tell me have u done something extreme in love? Also let me know ur views on possessiveness and jealousy...How much of it is permissible?

Found these interesting quizzes while surfing randomly on the internet....and discovered myself in a different light! :) Well to think of it i wudn't actually mind havin a house in Paris coz i love that place. No comments in case of the second question, I don't like beer in the first place....yucks!! Dual Strike

This is all I can say after the occurence of two disasters....one caused by humans and the other caused by nature. Just when we were beginning to dwell over the massive earthquake that struck Central China on Monday....we hear about the seven serial blasts that rocked Jaipur yesterday, turning the Pink city red!! My heart sank when I saw the first file pictures of the blasts on the news channels....my heart goes out to the families of all those people who were shopping or were there to worship at the temple when the blasts occurred. I just went numb at the thought of how it must hav been for the ppl who lost their dear ones in the blast. Memories of the July 11, 2006 train blasts came rushing to my mind and I was left with a strange question in mind! �How do people agree to plant bombs in there own country, in there own area??� Yes, the heartless work of planting bombs is mostly done by local ppl who r hired for this purpose bcoz they know the area very well. I just fail to understand that is money so important that a person is actually willing to go ahead and create mass scale destruction. I dunno what goes on in the mind of the person who sells himself to such a task!

Talking about the earth quake that hit China on Monday, its heart wrenching to know that the toll has already reached 12,000 and is expected to increase further. Whenever such a calamity occurs I am reminded of only one thing�.I dunno how many ppl here believe in god�.but I feel its god�s way of reminding us tht, no matter hw advanced v become but when it comes to nature�s fury v mortals r helpless creatures! Even if v r able to detect something like an earthquake�..its impossible to prevent it from happening�..the least tht can b done is to try n minimize the impact on life and property. I think I am not goin to see the news for a few days now�as there is no point in seeing the aftermath of these disasters�.it will only evoke feelings of unhappiness. In case of China, it will take quite sometime for them to resurrect wht they hav lost. And In case of the blasts at Jaipur, the lesser said the better (the 2006 blasts case has still not been cracked!) what can one expect from a country like India?? The emotional and physical scars left behind by these blasts may never heal! Whatever mental turmoil I was going thru has been overshadowed by these two disasters��I wonder when will this sombre and glum phase subside!?

Wedding Mania

Yes i had to name this post as "Wedding Mania" coz this is what the current season here, seems to be!! I attended one of my batchmate's (we did our graduation together) wedding yesterday and it suddenly felt as if i m this stupid gurl out here who hasn't got married yet coz she has certain ambitions to fulfill b4 walkin down the aisle.....Am i expecting too much!? Really dunno abt tht coz according to ppl i knw around me, i hav everything a gurl can ask for...an MBA (from a more or less decent b-school), a cushy job with a six figure pay, and most of all a guy who i hav been dating from donkey's years. So wht am i waitin for....Well me and my guy r of the same age and we both don't feel the need to get married right away as we want 2 be adequately prepared for a new life ahead...which wud mean; to hav a decent bank balance (savings for a rainy day) and a house of our own (with the sky rocketing real estate rates i dunno hw far is it possible!).....thts abt it as of now. Now the question is, r v being too ambitious......or r v being stupid!? My answer is a big NO....coz v don't want to get married jus bcoz everybody around us seems to be doin so!! We definitely want to b 2gether, but not at the cost of our dreams!! Thankfully i hav very understanding parents who hav not yet started pestering me wth the thought of gettin married. May be they r waitin for me to walk upto them and tell them tht i m finally ready to get married. To think of it, its not tht far....one to two yrs down the line shud b the time for us to get hitched! :D So tht brings me to a question for all of u out there....When do u feel is the right time for a guy/girl to get married?? I don't want to see answers talkin of the right age and stuff....wud rather prefer to see wht u want to achieve b4 goin ahead wth marriage? :)
